I wanted to let all my bloggers know that my husband and I are adopting a 2 year old boy from Ethiopia. I will be doing some natural medicine training and work on the orphans at two orphanages while I am there.
I am asking for any donations of vitamins, natural hygene products, or anything useful to malnourished babies and young children. The orphanage that my son is at is seeing rickets. This is a severe Vitamin D deficiency. I will be taking as much D in as many forms as I can. If I am fortunate enough to get more products than I can pack, I will be sending products with other new parents from Wisconsin that are going to the same orphanage in Ethiopia.
There is also a lot of ring worm, and viral skin infections. I saw some photos of children with pink eye.
Any help you can give will be greatly appreciated by the many children of Ethiopia.
I will post more as things progress. We are working on getting our paperwork done to get it to Ethiopia. We hope that process is completed by the end of February so we can hope to travel by June or July.
