Here is a recipe that I have been using a few times per week for about a month. This will fill you up and keep you feeling full for about 4-6 hours. The secret is filling your stomach with soluble fiber that also balances the pancreas and sends a “full” signal to the brain.
1 cup yougart (watch that it is low sugar)
1/2 cup frozen or fresh berries of your choice (today I had strawberries)
1-2 servings of PGX granuales
mix well and let stand 5-10 minutes – the fiber will absorb the liquid and make your blend the consistancy of cheese cake.
Variations: add nuts for higher protein, mix your berries or eat a yougart that has berries in it
Eat and be happy all afternoon!
