My Question is why do I have good BM during my cylce. Then struggle with consipation the rest of the month?

Frequent constipation is a sign of a couple of problems.

If  your bowels are better when your hormones are at different levels, and not because you change your eating habits (note to many out there – women tend to change their eating habits around their cycles) then I would recomend taking DIM.  DIM is a blend of plant chemicals that metabolize out excess hormones.  This simply brings your hormones into balance and that should solve the hormonal constipation.

If however, it isnt hormones it is an inbalance of bacteria, or overgrowth of candida (fungas) – then we address that differently.  Taking Pro-Flora immune by integrative therapies labs will balance the bacteria in the bowel and start helping your body to create more NK (natural killer) cells to boost your immune system.  With H1N1 out there and mutating – this is a good idea.

If  you have a candida problem you must clear that up.  This is done by diet and taking a candida cleanser.  I have several to choose from.  I always recommend changing the diet.  Eat clean and lean.  Stop eating anything “white”.  Sugars, empty carbs, ice cream, etc all feed candida.

The other thing you should try is increase your fiber in the diet.  This is easy.  Take ground flax, chia seed, psyllium husk, or if you want to loose weight try my PGX.  Each of these should be taken at meal time, about a tablespoon to start, you can always increase the amount as your body adjusts to the increase of fiber.  This will bulk up the bowel, helping to cleanse it naturally, and will lower cholesterol, and decrease your risk for colon cancer.

Hope this was helpful!  If you still have troubles, stop in at B Natural and we will look at your health history for further clues.
